HI Rich, meeting up would be good but I think Monday might be the better day for me (I don't think I'll get a full weekend pass  ) can you make Monday instead?

No probs Rich, I fancy the Sunday but it's like the Waltons at my house on a Sunday with all our kids and theres no way I can get em all in a speedster. Even with a larger catering pack of lurpack my misuses ain't gonna let me slip off for a days jollying round cars  I'll keep checking metcheck for some sunshine. She's still not happy I'm going to Germany in sept

Might not be taking my car.
Went to pick my car up today.
Took it for a test drive before I handed over the dosh.

Engine siezed after half a mile! I had to tow it back to the garage behind my own van. I wasn't too impressed. The poor chap who rebuilt the engine was close to tears. He will be working on a solution now that I told him I want it back before teatime Saturday. Total headturners haven't been in touch to see how things are going with the rebuild, so disappointment all ways.
:( Alton towers tomorrow (so no wedding) so all isnt that bad :?

That sucks, looks like the mechanic won't be watching the wedding either then as he'll be rebuilding your engine again. Don't really give you much confidence in his work though steve.

Have fun at A/T

May see you at the show

The garage phoned me tonite. They hope to borrow an engine for my car so I can come to the show, they will then rebuild my engine and then swap when it is ready. I will know more tomorrow, fair play to them if they can pull it off and at least they were man enough to admit they may have made a mistake, fingers crossed. Total headturners still not phoned, might email them again to see how big the cheque they are sending is

look forward to seeing some friendly faces at the show

Stevie B :)

Does anyone know if speedsters have a designated spot/area?

Hi, yeah the Speedster club (but would be more that happy to have any porsches there) have a stand/area ask as you drive in but normaly hey are to the right as you enter about three roads up and then left, if that helps
