My Leistritz (spelling) when near new ran 105 dB with the three outlets open. (measured to MSA hillclimb spec)
It got a lot noisier over time and is well over now. Sounds a bit dull with the middle two closed.

Alan was developing one wasn't he?

Neil Bainbridge has one in production. The prototype has been tested on a race engine and came out at 104 dB @ 5000rpm. See Mike's RSR restoration thread for details.

The hillclimb 'method' is 3/4 Red line measured at 1000mm away from the outlet @ 45 deg to the outlet.
Still a bit too close for comfort.

Demonstrates the difficulty in comparing results
Rallying is 2/3max rpm at 0.5m and 45 degrees to outlet.

'67 911R 2.0 twin plug (sometime, maybe, never?)

Unitl now I've always had Dansk (not stainless) again for the noise. Given I wanted to do track days, I got turbo thomas to do a stainless one, (two out, one side capped). It delivered additional horsepower (uncapped) than the dansk, though doesnt sound as good (on overrun). Looks nice in stainless, and lasts well too.

My old Liestrick 2 in/3 out/centre 2 capped makes a great tone (esp all open).
Wish they still made them.
Transend used to sell them I think?
