Sorry folks. Just got back from China.

No good Tags to be had. I saw pictures of them but when I went with the dodgy characters to look they were crap.

First time I've come away without buying any watches.

I get the feeling that Tag are protecting their copyright. For the last 10 years it has been impossible to buy cheap copy versions of any product by a certain Italian company beginning with 'G' famous for handbags and loafers. It is rumored that a few well 'connected' people in Italy did a deal with counterparts in China and cracked a few heads in Hong Kong. No one meeses any more.

Anyway. I'm sorry. I wouldn't have posted the original message if I thought I'd have come back empty handed. But I have. Maybe next time.

Just to be an opportunist keep an eye on the for sale section over the next couple of weeks as I will be selling at least one original Heuer Monaco (not Tag) to finance a new project if it comes off. A 1949 Lambretta!!!!!!

Yeah, because they suit the meaning of DDK really well. Set up another board :P

As much as I like scooters I don' think we could have a section on here for them, by all means have a few threads.

A section would attract Scooter fans and we'd be soaking up bandwidth and adding to database size for a hobby that only a small number of our members are interested in.

My thoughts anyway.

Its only because you haven't got a Porsche anymore :P

I'm not a fan of scooters at all,

but did see something that me chuckle the other day, 2 fat blokes in full Mod Uniform on 2 old Vespas or lam'is trying to ride up a slip road to the A1 with their throttles wound right back, hunched over the bars & travelling just a bit faster than walking pace
