Pilgrim do a four seater on a std beetle floorplan :

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and all that. :)

High speed handling would be interesting on the short one but I reckon you could get it to pop wheelies easily.

thats a dog isn't it! I emailed Pilgrim t'other day (no response yet a week on...) and fell across this when looking for their email address.

No wonder they had issues over last 2/3 years with creations like this!

I looked at that stretched speedster at Market Drayton. It wasn't my cup of tea but cheap enough for someone at £11k with no miles on clock.

It is still for sale on speedsters.com site for £13k have to say an acquired taste. Just out of interest the photos posted by Stevie B showing the speedster and the shorty are in fact my car some one has done a photo shop on .I am bias but the photos do not show the quality of the paintwork or finish .I do not know how to add my own photos on the site a bit of a Luddite i am afraid .

that pilgrim is still for sale. its sits in a showroom and was built by the gy who owns the dealership. I remember them asking £23k for it a few years ago. So so glad they didnt take me up on my more than generous offer!!!

Pilgrim came up with idea to use the standard beetle chassis to avoid the SVA/IVA, what a cock-up. What a differance 10 3/4 inches make... eh fella's... They should try and sell it to a Circus.
