I admire anyone with the balls to reskin a door! I bottled it and bought a 964 door to replace mine

It was easier to weld the mirror holes up than to even think about reskinning.

ds door fitted is perfect , ps one when i was fitting to the frame seemed to be a bit big , fitted it and it was , fiited most of the way around the bottom of the skinn set a bit over the sill so i rcut the botttom of the skin a nd refolded it turned out great , bo th doors on and opening closing lovely , a bit of filling along the bottom where i was dolling thats all owen nw

finall y back at the 912 , had to modify the ps door skinn it was 2 mm to deep , so i recut it and re folded the lip , after dollying the 2 flanges together i welded a few spot welds to secure , i refitted the door but the front leading edge diddn t fully line up with the wing edge , the ds one fell into place ?????????????, so using the slide hammer i managed to get it to move some and the rest i ve done using filler
