Isn't it the one that was up for sale here last week and was being discussed in this forum?
Looks like both the sale ad and the discussion thread have been deleted?
Personally I prefer this...
http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/2225785.htm
but then i'm slightly bias

I've seen the car quite a few times. Nick did the original build and Tuthill has done loads more to it. Ever evolving spec. Some serious money spent. It's more of a 'homage' car than a car with all spot on period correct parts. Both the original build and the Tuthill work is very good. Goes well too.

They are pretty basic errors at that, alsonick-moss wrote:There are a lot of major errors in the description;
It's a 1985 car, and a replica of a 73 RSRBased on a 1986 SuperSport 911 body this is a Tuthill prepared and beautifully finished replica of a yellow '74 RSR.
Braids, not FuchsFuchs RSR 9X15 and 10X15 wheels

I remember the donor car being bought. It was a factory widebody. I thought that meant Supersport. Reason I remember is that it was a really nice car in 80s red and I thought shame it's not staying standard.
Is a Carrera with Sports Equipment a widebody? (I know very little about impact bumper cars).

I could have sworn the Turbo Look and Supersport came out in 1984?
But I'm sure a dealer specialising in backdates will know more than me!!

In 84 it was an option rather than a factory model, in 85 it became a model in the range that they called the Carrera with Sport Equipment, in 86 they changed the name to Super Sport. All are turbo bodied, turbo brakes and suspension but with the NA 3.2 engine. SE 915 boxed, Super Sport G50.
They've all come to be known as Super Sports and we use it because no one knows what an SE is, but it ain't strictly right.
Are you bored yet?
