Steve

The best I can do is a photo of a photo just now. No digital camera in the eighties when I owned it. It was my first ever 911 and I saved hard for it. And yes I was a flipper. From memory I bought it for £4500 and flipped it 7 years later for £5500. Those were the days!!

It was identical to Ferryman's 2.4S. Metallic green with tan Recaro Sport Seat interior (vinyl). That was the original spec. I sold it to a guy in Northern Ireland. I have just checked my garage and I still have a small box of original bits from the car (mostly junk).

Mike

Hi Mike,

Thanks for posting the photos. It's always interesting when ones old cars turn up especially when they have undergone such a dramatic make-over as this old one of yours.

It certainly looks as if someone has bought themselves a very good looking car (albeit in a non-original spec).

Maybe we'll see it out & about this summer...

Anyone remember what it sold for last time around? All I recall is that it was a great looking car for the price.

Emailed the guy and got

"Original chassis and matching numbers but was originally a lurid metallic green"

I hear Paul "Ferryman" is on his way round now to set him straight!

Car now in Aberdeen where it spent a lot of it's early life (pre me) and hopefully a new member on the way.
Looking forward to seeing it in the flesh again sometime.
