What where the colour options?
Sorry to soil this posh thread with such mundance fare BTW .
Citizen £50
Seiko £100-£250
Sorry, I could have sworn I put it, but it's Seiko I was thinking of. I've got a couple of other of their Chrono's, but quite fancy adding one of these as well.
Many thanks.

hahaha.. if i walk past there with a brick in my hand the gold daytona, the pam127 and the 16600 seadweller are coming with me, the 16610LV wuold be pretty low down the list!
the seiko bullheads are quite a nice watch, i have a japanese market one with a brown dial, japanese datewheel and orange-brown bezel and an original fishbone bracelet.. its in bits being serviced at the moment, but will post up some pics when i get it back..
runs like a top, looks great, and at £200 you can't really complain!

I think these Seiko's are brilliant value: O.K. no snob value at all, but I like that. For me, I rather like the idea of a Speedy Pro, but frankly I'd only worry about actually using it, and I just know that it would stay in the safe the whole time. The Seiko's on the other hand don't cause any worry, plus they just get on with the job.
For all that, I rather like the Sinn on Bootsy's site at the moment: could be just the job for my fortieth ....

really? - the all gold daytona is a bit too bling even for me, I'd stick with the stainless... the pam 127 is a manual wind (couldnt get used to that ) and the seadweller - well isnt that the black LV?
Thanks for all the PM's etc. I must admit I didnt realise it was quite as expensive for what it is, I'll probably have sell one of what I've got before the wife lets me make another plunge like that.

hate all gold watches but a gold daytona would be worth nicking if the window was already done-in!
pam127 is a HUGE watch, again i wouldn't want one but definetly worth nicking; think they're around 15k now?!
16610 submariner is a black LV, the 16600 seadweller is more of a hard-core tool watch; bigger case, HEV, etc. but i think the same movement..
seadwellers are probably my favourite range of watches ever; i like the sub's too, but i prefer the larger case, plus i don't like the date cyclops! jason has/had a "no-date" sub though which was superb looking
Following the above post: has anyone got a Seiko Bullhead they'd consider selling, or know of a good one? Prefer black, but would consider either colour.
Many thanks . BTW, sensible budget for right one.

there was a dealer with a near-mint one in bath.. i'll see if i can find the details and a link; it had box/papers, original bracelet, dial, hands, bezel insert, etc. I think it was a black/dark brown one
will post back if i track it down, think it was about £300
