Newbie - South Wales

Post by Family Guy »

Hello all.

Registered on here a while back but never said hello. Big fan of all things Porsche and currently own a silver 993 C4. Love early Porsches but have a real soft spot for the 914. Owned a black 914/4 around 10 years ago, and loved it, great fun. Hopefully get back in a teener someday (soon).

FG - that's the old man's restoration company

I live about 15 mins away from there in Lisvane

I think it may be time to try and arrange a beer session locally as there are quite a few DDKers from our neck of the woods.

OK then - when and where?

any preferences?

the couple of meets we've done before - one was at the Oystercatcher in Penarth, the other was near Celtic Manor.

A Cardiff centric meet is good for me - somewhere with a nice car park is probably best

evenings are easier for me but happy for weekends (provided Mrs G hasn't got anything planned!)

cheers

Evening would be better as weekends are a bit busy at the moment.

Anywhere with a descent car park sounds good. Oyster catcher sounds good and wouldn't take long to get there.

If this is going to be a bit of a meet should a thread be started in another area as well, such as general chat (not sure as i'm new here)?? as this is just a hello to all thread, if that makes sense :)
