This must be the best 67S I have ever seen

By my reckoning the cill trim isn`t long enough and should cover the torsion bar covers. There should be a sticker on the fan housing and should those wiper arms be polished ?

Oh and the filler flappy thing does look horrible.

The wipers are a conundrum. There is nothing wrong with the finish and they do (although I know some would argue) park to the correct side. They look to be (as far as I can see-there is not a great close up pic) both left hand side wiper arms. The right arm should be a slightly different shape to the left. A closer pic would help.

The sill trims are correct. They should not cover the torsion bar covers.

The wing mirror is correct. It is different to the later style Durrant if you look closely.

The interior mirror is an ongoing debate too. Chrome backed or black backed both have their supporters so can't criticise that ( mine is black backed).

Good spot on the wheels. The spare is finished correctly but the ones on the car have no black painted darts.

The headlights are period correct.

The petrol filler spill rubber does look odd but the one on my car is a fabric type material (faded and dry) rather than the later more common black rubber type. I was wondering if that is a NOS item and that is how they did look when new. Any ideas on what to use on mine to refurbish it without damage? I need to soften it up somehow.

Ride height is low (esp at the front) but poss owners preference?

What is odd is that there has been a careful repaint to the correct finish in all the black areas (including under the engine lid grille) but they have missed the front and rear lid hinges which should be black.

I don't think there should be an air box sticker on a 67S.

Anyone else see anything?

It is a lovely car. Now down in price too.

Perforated bolsters definitely available but I have to check on the cord. I have seen perforated leather or vinyl, tartan, houndstooth etc but now I am not sure if I have ever seen cord centres

Always thought the darts were correct (certainly on all of my period brochures)

Don't take this the wrong way, but I always love these discussions about what is exactly correct From my experience of low volume car production (and especially with a new model) is that it's unlikely any two cars will be the same. As parts improve, and designs evolve and suppliers change, then variations will be introduced as running changes. You will get a big batch of changes timed in for a 'model year' but there will always be little things changing.

Also just before model year change over you may get parts creaping on to the early cars as stock runs down, and visa versa in some cases.

I'm not saying any of this applies to the car in question, but just another spin on the 'is it or isn't it right' debate
