One of our own? Paul64?

I hope you don't mind me posting this, Paul? I have to say I was quite surprised to see the ad in C&SC this lunchtime. One of Manfred's finest:

http://www.cheshireclassiccars.co.uk/in ... 3&Itemid=2

I would like to take exception to this statement in 'the driving report' if I may:

"This is why these cars are so venerated compared to their contemporaries such as the 911S for example."

Good luck with the sale.
Steve

1 x '67S, 3 x 2.4S all RHD

A privilege & pleasure to have owned them all.

Tis a beauty but Freisinger cars tend to have a massive "Freisinger" premium. Guessing its not cheap...

Wonder if he'll swap it for a 964RS rep?

Hi all, yes; it's my chariot up there in Cheshire.
I left the car with Iain (whom I've known for 35 years now!) after the MOT and last session with Bob on the rolling road for safe storage till Le Mans.
I asked him to sound out the market whilst it was there as I may well be moving to the US office later in the summer for some time and I would prefer a new custodian to take over care of '0024' than leave it stuck in storage for the duration of the secondment.

I asked Iain to put a firm price of 200GBP on it, which seems fair and it appears interest is reassuringly high - as seems generally the way with the quality classics market during this recession.

Let's see what happens - at the moment, Le Mans is still a go and I'm looking forward to a burger in the sun!
