Just a quick one.

I've just taken the plunge on a 'grail' watch so need to move a couple.

So this lovely Heuer Autavia 11630 MH is up for grabs.

Advertised for more elsewhere but a bargain £1300 delivered to a DDK'er

This watch in this condition from a dealer will be £1650-1900

Few more pics and details here.... be quick for a lovely, just serviced Heuer.

it's one ofthe first reissue Monacos. My favourite of the reissues.

They are quite sort after and with papers fetch around £1500-£1750

I sold the Autavia (and a couple of others) so I could take the plunge on another 'grail' watch.

A couple of years ago I got the wonderful Heuer Chronopgraph book by Arno Haslinger.

When I read the book and saw images of a Heuer Silverstone in the rich 'Bordeaux' finish I just knew I needed one in my life!

The odd one came up for sale but never at the right time or indeed in the condition I sought after.

A couple of months ago a respected Heuer collector mentioned to me that he would soon have one for sale and that it was indeed a minter.

There was a queue to buy it but luckily I committed before anyone else and in a couple of weeks time I will be picking it up. Bit of a milestone for my Heuer collecting obsession!

It's a bit of a marmite watch I suppose - bright and oddly designed to many. But to me it's a real grail and I can't wait to wear it.

A few pics of the actual watch.

Will be going on a matching strap for this look

I got my paws on it this morning and it's in stunning condition, better than I could have wished for. No marks, beautiful dial and nicely aged markers. Happy Bootsy!

The featured Orifina Porsche Design chrono is absolutely stunning - how easy is it to find pieces like that? Where would you even start?

not too difficult. Often for sale on forums and eBay but get snapped up quickly.

Budget anywhere between £1000-£2000 depending upon condition

1998 Zenith El Primero changed from the original metal strap to a faux croc strap yesterday for the summer (should have cleaned it prior to taking the photo  ):
