Classic LeMans 2010 - Q&A
As there are a lot of DDK'ers coming to LeMans for the 1st time, I thought it would be fun to have a thread dedicated to LeMans banter, questions & answers, where to go etc etc
So if you've been before & you're an 'old hand' at LeMans let DDK know your advice

Take eye drops, wet wipes, talc, ear plugs, and a personal radio. Use the toilets in Arnage, ham and eggs, crusty bread and coffee and then line up for a merde! Lovely view down to the river out of the window! Make sure you have a paddock pass - its the best bit. Make the trips out to other parts of the circuit - Porsche curves, and Indianapolis/Arnage are great. Dip pork chiplolates into dijon moutarde and wash down with beer.....

Take a spare pait of trousers with you when watching night time racing in case a fellow member decides to deposit a pint of beer over your crotch!

lol, where to start....
camp for starters, being woken by exhausts is unmissable isn't it Bert!
Enjoy the drive to and from Le mans, both are fabulous and loud, passing through small villages in the bocage with school kids leaning out of windows imploring you to rev rev REV and go vite vite!! is great fun.
stop at totally inappropriate village garages, you'll make the proprietors Xmas when 70 Porsche's pull up.
Smile
Laugh
Use Barry when something brakes!
make life long friends!
blag lifts in pit taxis
laugh when they start that 917 just for you!
leave family at home.
