Roll cage

Anyone fitted a roll cage?
I have been looking at the OMP version and was wondering if anyone has any experience of this or any others good or otherwise?

this is a crap picture but its a safety devices rear cage in a '57 356A, it has plates that weld in and then the cage biolts down to them, and it was very easy to fit, Bill.

I'm going to have a cage made, but as I have intentions to participate in various motorsport events including sprints, hillclimbs and possibly autotests I am going to have it built to the correct tubing specs. I would imagine the OMP cage would comply but if you intend on any competition usage it may be wise to check specs. I expect I'll get Geoff Hauser race cars or Andy Robinson Chassis to fabricate the cage for me.

Thanks. Anymore pics of the safety devices cage? Their website is useless. Also how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking?

I don't have any better pictures of the roll bar itself, but in this one it can be seen in the rear quarter windows, it fits quite closely inside the car so there is little wasted space and just far enough back so you don't clunk your head on it , well I 'm 5'10" and don't, if you want to take a look at the car it lives in Kensington, and I don't know how much it cost as it came with the car when I bought it but had not been fitted,Bill.

I had a rear rollcage purpose made and fitted many years ago by ''Rollcentre'' with which I've been very pleased.
It was a neat job , but I can't remember cost I'm afraid.

Thay have a decent website but the 356 isn't listed on their ''standard'' list, so you'll need to have a chat with them.
