Hello from across the pond!!!!

Post by Vwbobd »

Hello, My name is Bob. Im a new menber fron the USA. I live in the southeast United States in northwestern Georgia in a city called Chatsworth. We are approximately 100 miles north of Atlanta.
I have a 1971 911T targa that I am in the process of doing a full restoration. I have completed my rust repairs which included complete floorpans, front suspension pan, both inner and outer rockers, and the right side rear torsion bar area, and door skins. I also have a new set of OEM fenders to install. I bought this baby from a US Army commander who was stationed in Munich and bought it and had it shipped over when he returned to the states back in 1973. I bought it back in 1998 and have been working on it as time and $$ has allowed. I plan to have it completed with full engine rebuild, paint and interior by the end of summer. Here is a picture of it when I bought it , it had been repainted some time back but was kinda rough:

I cannot see the forest my good man, my view is blocked by all those damn trees.
