That car has been for sale for some time - not surprised given the asking price.

There's a fair amount of bullsh*t in the description - eg the steering wheel & instruments are not from an original RSK & it couldn't have been built in 1977 as GP never offered a kit until the early '80's.

"Sold" last week at £14600, which I thought was well over the top. Looks like a reasonably nice GP Spyder with a 356 engine.

Gearbox looks like a VW to me, gauges are Lucas based repros.

Lots of dealer waffle, I don't think the GP Spyder was even being produced in 1977.

Just e-mailed him and asked if any work has been done in the week since it was sold for almost £8000 less, also if the gearbox, instruments, steering wheel etc had now been changed for the "genuine" items described in the advert. :albino:

It went from a 1300 to a 1600 :)
