Update on prices - I've enquired on an original Silverstone and looking at £3500. Gulp...I'm sure I was looking at ones last summer for about £2250? Maybe I'm getting confused...

I sold a blue one on bracelet with red chequered box for £2000 in june 2008 but prices have gone up a lot since then - heuers are out performing other vintage watch brands

I have been collecting since 1998 and my first silverstones cost me £700 in near mint condition...

I have to agree, Tag don't have wide enough appeal.

Just in case anybody fancies a very nice piece of mid 60s Vintage Rolex....

Never thought I would sell this but another impending Heuer purchase forces sale of this stunning watch.

The serial number is 1002258 which would seem to date the watch between 1964-1965.

It's in stunning condition, no issues.

60s Rolex Precision Oyesterdate, original hands and face in stunning condition

Original bracelet with no stretch!

I challenge you to find a better one.

the older heuers are really growing on me; seem like very car and motorsport oriented pieces..
really like the silverstone although judging by the prices on the heuerboy site i'm not alone in that one

i've been browsing around over there recently, mostly drooling over this.. clicky ..and trying to come up with "6 good numbers"

Tried a PloProf on the other day in London. Great watches but not sure I could get on with one. I wear my watch on my right wrist and the Prof felt uncomfortable.

Me too! as displayed today!

Although a nicely balanced two dial is always a winner.

Not even looked at them to be honest as apart from the Milgauss the newer stuff doesn't excite me!

they are HUGE, its just the sharkproof bracelet and big orange button that keeps pulling me in! the dark blue face is nice too
