I'm coming out

Post by 9xx »

Hi there

I've been enjoying your site for some time and thought I'd say hello.

I bought my first Porsche about 10 yrs ago - a conda green '70 targa which was fun, but developed engine problems. I couldn't face the rebuild cost, so sold that one. Next a '71 S, £10k for a rust bucket, sold it recently, unrestored :( next... a poo brown '74 - loved it as it only needed a polish to be enjoyed.
I currently own a '73T 'easy' resto, a 964 C4 - just in case there's ice! and a '69 912 restored by me - needs snagging but a great car with a 2.4 engine, soon to be 3.0 on webers. The cars are all in Norwich, and I have a young family, so little time to enjoy.

I'm a model maker by trade working in c. London.

Great website - many thanks

some pics.....,

like the soapbox/bathtub Cool
That's 'last fling', drum brakes all round, waving naked 70's mannequin, low and very fast. Closest I've come to motor racing, Murray Walker even did the commentary

I work for a product design studio, making their designs of goods like sat nav's, phones, through to baby cots and coffee makers. Just cosmetic and mechanical, no electronics.

Incidentally Barry, we have a Tom Senior in our workshop, great little machines!

Thanks for the comments on the cars.
