I originally posted this in the general topic area, but maybe it's a bit more appropriate here as I'd like your views on the cars that I've posted links to?
I'd love to hear your thoughts!
And if so, how do you go about it?
Basically, I've spotted a few really lovely 911s (mainly 1970/71 T and Es) for sale in Italy and I wondered how difficult it is to import a car from there?
I used to own a classic BMW that had spent all it's life there and it was just spotless - genuinely no rust on it all. I think this was becuase of the nice warm, dry climate, and I believe that they don't salt the roads there in the winter (not sure if that is true?). So maybe those cars I've seen advertised might be quite nice?
Only problem is, I can't speak Italian!

Very easy to import, all you need is a bill of sale and the title document.
Is it a dealer selling these cars? If so he may well speak English. If not, money talks

Hi Nick,
I'll post a link so you can all see!

These 2 are quite close to where I live - importing from Germany is much easier for me as I live here:

The green one strikes me (inexplicably) as being 'interesting' - don't know why!
Moved: Has anybody ever imported a car from Italy?
