Better than a day at work .. .. ..

This was my day out last thursday - Chobham test track, a good handful of aircooled 911s plus a smattering of posh "kettles" for a photo shoot for Used Car Buyer who are doing a 911 buyers guide - Nope, I'd not heard of the magazine either!
The GT3 was a dealer car & treated with a bit of respect, the 996 C4S was Porche's press car - that got driven really gently (honest) by everyone.
A couple of guys mentioned DDK & the Dark Side, I was wearing my t-shirt & handing out flyers

This one is obviously made up of 2 pics - best I could do!

38 years of evolution?

For some reason they wouldn't let me drive this one .. .. ..

I did put this up on VZi first, I was waiting for the better quality pics for here

Given we were all a bunch of sad geeky 911 lovers ......
They all said how 'classic' & 'old - but in a good way' it looked. That's kinda the whole point of my purchase!
Better than (common) White or Guards Red!
