Thanks for all the nice comments (about the cars!)

The 911 is a T/R or T/H or Sports Purpose (depends on what you want to call it - different people have different views). Delivered new with most of the Sports Purpose options - Rally pack, LSD, 100 l tank, 7R Fuchs, race seat, race suspension and 906 spec engine kit (single plug). The engine kit was fitted straight away by Mitter Racing in Germany and run in by the owner's mechanic on the way to its first race! It spent a couple of years being raced around Europe before being sold to the second owner who raced it for a couple more years with wide rear wings. It was dug out from his barn after many years of neglect and restored. I bought it earlier this year from a guy in the States.

I'm in the process of returning it to '68 spec (narrow body) and getting it road registered. Once I've had a few runs in it I'll figure out what I'm going to use it for...

I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better. Are there any Swiss based members on the forum?

Cheers, Mike

Got to love a narrow body :-)

GeorgeK is in Switzerland I believe but frequents the ImpactBumper board, but not sure if he also has an early car.
