356 b/c horn ring

Post by woznot »

Not being up on 356,s does anyone know what a b/c horn ring is worth , I have one and have had for about 20 years , its really nice condition . I need to finance my 911 restoration , so it gots to go .
There does seem to be a number of repros available , I,m sure this is the real deal , but whats the difference ? is there anyway to know for sure ?
thanks

I was looking into remanufacturing them at one point but the numbers were too high to produce them in a small amout.

The difference is that the B,C are larger and chrome and the A are smaller and painted, you could get a full and half ring. (please, someone correct me on this as I was only looking into the B,C ones)

As for price, it's depends on condition. I've seen from 350 right up to 700 some good some bad some ugly. but yours is original - people pay more for that!

Hope that that helps
