Hi all has anyone built or got a pilgrim speedster , have u had any door issus or sills bowed or rear boot not fitting ? please help :(

Hi

I have built a pilgrim speedster for a customer i had to fit the body and hang all the panels .

Its not a easy job at all i hope you have big skills

I built one, a few years ago, Had to build the doors up with glass to make them anywhere near a decent fit, also had to cut out the front wheel arches and move them as they were in the wrong place !!! became quite adept at working with fibreglass !!! that said I enjoyed the build and love the car.

Did your sills bow , ? did Den tanner have the company then ? Is it ok to pick your brains I need to build in 6 months for my wedding ?

Hi Oliver i have PM ,d you my number.

I think Den Tanner has only recently re taken over the business. I understand that the guy he sold it too, went bust and he re bought it????

I built their flared arch "california" model, like I said there were loads of snags but I really enjoyed the build and love the car.

Cheers Steve I will have to ring you coz up to now nothing fits :( I have enjoyed to chassis build but up to now Pilgrim is grim
