I'm with you... I quite like the blue mind ( I would say that) but the red on the bonnet makes it look like its got a ruddy great big ship anchor on the front. That said, it seems like a realistic price - ( did I see it priced in euros? ) If so is that's not a bad price ... ?
Don't know why I'm asking really, not in that kind of market really and if I was, that wouldn't be the one I bought...

I agree with John - it makes a change from the endless Grand Prix White/blue, etc.
It also makes a refreshing change for someone to turn their RS into what they want rather than being scared to make any modifications for fear of detracting from what the 'market' dictates.

A friend that was at the auction reported to me that the Rs was bid to around €150k, but he didn't understand if it was sold or not.
An interesting one in the dealers hall was this one IMO:

It's Rs #1146, one of the very few in royal purple. I remember this one when was for sale in Milan in 1998, an outstanding original 2-owner car. I didn't have the money to buy it, was bought by a guy that has raced it in historical events since then. Original engine was quickly blown and a 2.8 one was rebuilt around a replacement block. Original case comes with the car.
Dealer was asking Eur170k but it remained unsold.
Ciao,
Andrea
