I really wish I'd've gone. Very jealous.

Certain it was me, especially as when I finally got back to the car on Sunday afternoon it had a DDK flyer under the windscreen wiper!!! I was staying out 20 mins north of Le Mans and never managed to find the campsite. Did you guys see the 23 window samba with the Porsche engine :D I want one to tow a 911R......... in my dreams. :D

Wonderful weekend. Will be back in two years time definitely.
Highlight of the weekend was undoubtedly the 'parade laps' around the full circuit. Heart in mouth moment when I looked in the rear view to see grey smoke spewing out of engine! at 7,200 in 5th ! - Lost 4 litres of oil mostly fell onto the right bank heat exchanger. Brown trouser moment1
Turned out to be a fractured timing chain tensioner tube. Was fixed overnight by the AA.
Many thanks for the support from all (even the purple belgian 2.4S whom we had overtaken at the mulsanne kink - he overtook us later on and gave the fist shaken up and down sign of international solidarity)
Looked gutted when we overtook him on the Sunday on the N138

Mike, glad the car wasn't too serious. When I saw you at the side of the track at the end of the laps my heart sank for you.
Thanks for the bottle of red wine at the porsche tent, it contributed to a very messy sunday afternoon/ night for the DDK
