If anyone is feeling flush, and like me have a love of Heuer, Juergen from Classic Heuer in Germany will have a stand at Revival - also there will be Arno the fella that did the recent Heuer book.

I bought a 1133b Monaco from Juergen a few years ago - nice bloke - lovelly watch that has probably doubled in value!

Not sure if you guys have heard about this, but a friend of a friend has just relaunched an old Swiss watch brand

they have just had the 1st Lonville car rally through Italy to celebrate the launch.

I believe that the launch model is limited to a very small number so may be quite collectable in the future

All - advice needed please. How been on the look out for a first watch - ideally I like the Omega Speedmaster and the Heuer Carrera so have been keeping an eye out.

Looks good, only downside is the non original strap.

that's a 'reduced' , so smaller diameter ( 35.5mm ? ) than a normal one ( 40mm ? )

The seller has confirmed size is 38.5mm - what's a few mm between friends

I assume that the 'reduced' watches are generally cheaper than the full size ones but is there a large differential?

The current trend seems to be for bigger watches and smaller ones are often a bit harder to sell. However buy what you want. That one looks nice.

Jason? What do you reckon to the pre moon Speedy available at the same place? It was marked as 'sold' last week but is now available again. Is that a 'correct' watch for the price?

adam replied to your pm. reduced is quite a bit smaller - 38mm including crown is not that big. if you have small wrists you may pull it off and its an average price but nice package.

My mkiv will be up for sale when i get back - really nice watch owned and used by US test pilot...

I hope I don't sound to snooty but a reduced automatic "Speedy" really isn't a "Speedy" at all (to me anyway!), surly it has to be a manual.

I don't do watches as a rule, I've probably given to many over a bribes etc to really give a toss about them but I've inherited these 2 from my late father and would like to know firstly what they are (apart from the obvious as in a JaegerLe Coutre and an Omega ) and secondly I need a nice strap for the Jaeger and the omega needs some TLC after a guy in Istanbul replaced the battery and got moisture in it so it stopped working.

Hi all.
I have been casualy looking for a nice watch (not necessarily vintage) over the past year or so and read an article on a british company called Bremont. I really liked the look of their watches so wondered if anyone knew any more about them or had had any dealings with them.
