C2C - Saturday Night Meal - Coniston Hall

Post by hot66 »

Time for me to finalise Saturday night :)

Due to the large number of us all dining together we are having to treat the meal as you would at a wedding, so unfortunately we are going to be working to a 'set-menu' . I did try & get a choice offered but in reality it wasn't practical :(

What I need from you all is the following :

1. If you want the Veggy option, please post below.

2. If you are eating and not on the list of those staying in the hotel ( because you are staying elsewhere), please post below.

Basically I need numbers & names for the Veggy option ( you don't need to be a Veggy to take up this option ;) ) & I need total numbers eating.

If anyone has any STRONG objections to the choices available & need an alternative please let me know ASAP .

SATURDAY NIGHT MENU :

Starter :

Chilled Melon with Seasonal Berries & Raspberry Sorbet

Main Courses :

Roast Pork Traditionally Served with Roast Potatoes, Stuffing, Apple Sauce & Rosemary Jus

Veg Option :

Cannelloni Stuffed with Ricotta Cheese & Spinach served with New Potatoes

Served with Seasonal Vegtables

Pudding

Chocolate Roulade with Black Cherries & Brandy Cream

Followed by Tea / Coffee

Just to re-enforce things ..... if your name is not on the list above, you're not eating as there won't be seats available ! .... this includes partners / extra people in your room
.

I need to know in advance if you are joining us all for food.

I'll find out what the cost of the meal is for non-residents

James,

Johnny (Burma-Shave) is hoping to come too plus his mate David. He's currently on Islay on holiday hence lack of reply.
Cheers,
Vicki.

Ha, give Hayley the menu choice for Friday and she spends an hour pulling faces and trying to imagine what she`s going to feel like eating in a months tine.

Tell her what she`s going to have on Saturday, no messing about and she`s happy as Larry. (no, not you Larry)

There`s a lesson in this for all men.... somewhere :)

Thanks James, sounds delicious.

Mike.
