C2C - route planning + help needed

Post by hot66 »

Only 2 months to to go

To work within the law, I am not producing an official route map, but will provide a DDK Travel Guide that will highlight places of interest that are worth driving through for their historical interest ;)

Using google maps + my Travel Guide I'm pretty sure you can work out a stunning route between the hotels ;)

In fact, once I've worked out the route I'm going to go, I might even share it with some of you to aid you with your choice of routes ;)

Now this is where I need help for a kind DDK'er .... I have a 'word' document which is the DDK Travel Guide. Some how I need to make this available in the 'members area' for people to download. Is there a way of turning this into a pdf & it being hosted somewhere ?

James

I am a PC User and have PrimoPDF from www.primopdf.com - it is free and installes as a printer driver.

You open the Word document and then print to that printer, that then turns it in to a PDF document - voila.

I know that Bootsy hosts the Membership Application Form, so hopefully he would be able to store and link to that file on the web server also - e.g. www.ddk-online.com/c2croute.pdf

Hi James,

Once you've done I'll try and see where I can join you for a day :)

Financial constraints stop us joining in for the whole thing, but I really don't want to miss out totally! :)
