Very nice 'patch'

I'd love to own it but I must stop for a while as my box is full

I know, she does well considering she just had cubs. You wouldn't beleive how much bamboo she and the little ones eat though!

I just bought this on ebay

Image

The seller said it’s a RAF Omega pilots watch from 1942. I hope it is, I just liked the look of it.
I should post up my collection. It’s good for a laugh. Every watch I’ve owned since I was 4

I've traded a couple of mine recently.

My PD Orfina went as did the Dunhill mentioned earlier in this thread.

I've now replaced them with this - a Sinn 155

Basically Sinn took the last 300 cases of the 156 they had left and assembled them as the "Heuer Bundeswehr Fliegerchrono"

I've always hankered after a Heuer Bund and wanted a Sinn in my collection so this was a great solution when I found a unused one for sale.

I was reading GQ the other day in the Doctors, and they mentioned this site: http://www.corrvintagewatches.com/index.php

I'm sure that the were banging on about 'special watches' like the one that went to the moon, but looking at the site, I cant see any mention of special watches - just vintage ones... that said, there are some nice examples.

-on a side note - I'm a watch fan and have a number of self wind watches - can anyone recommend a watch box for 5 examples that 'shakes'? - and that doesnt cost a bucket-load of cash?

5 may be difficult.

These are good value for 4. I'm just about to buy one as I've filled my other case.

from this eBay shop - they have many other alternatives.

Just realised the one I posted is only for 2 watches  The link to the shop has 4 and 5 ones though.
