Right, latest then...

Could Nige, rvzz and stuby please pm me their addresses. I'll pass them to Jeff to send patterns to Nige and rvzz and samples of the binding to stuby.

Jeff has 14 colours of binding 1-Black, 5-grays, 5-tans, 1-red and 2- browns.

Thanks
Graham

Right, patterns are on their way from the US of A for Nige and rvzz. I haven't heard from stu so Jeff is going to post samples of binding to me.

I can probably now get final UK costs from Jeff and work out the cost of a 4- and 2-set inc shipping.

I'll post those up.

I'd prefer to email bank details to everyone rather than post. Could everyone pm me their email addresses? I promise not to sell them on!!!

Thanks
Graham

Yes I think so. I'll find out from someone who did it before.

I think Jamie did one.

I asked Bootsy, you just cut the template from Jeff to size. The templates should be in the post.

Thanks for all the email addresses sent so far, keep em coming.

indeed, a few of us did this last time (rhd mainly) and trimmed the templates (if necessary) and sent them back. The end result was very good.

Good, that's progress from Nige. I imagine Russ has his too, but I think he has been away. Assuming Russ' pattern fits, we are good to go.

I'll contact Jeff and try to finalise the prices (in GBP) this week and send out the bank details to everyone to make the payment.

Thanks

Ok, I think we are close.

We have the patterns confirmed. I have a good handle on the costs. Jeff will individually wrap and address the mats. Then they will be pallet-shipped to Importman to come across the pond in his container. Then I will collect them and stick them in the post!

I will collect the GBP from you lot and pay Jeff in USD (I have a UK currency account with a convenient USD balance!).

I have added up the costs for shipping (Jeff, Importman, UK postage) and there is very little difference in shipping for sets of 2 or 4. With a little leeway (about £1) for currency fluctuations, £25 covers the costs.

With the 20% discount, the cost of the mats is £95 (4) and £65 (2). Both plus £25 shipping. If anyone is interested I can publish the calcs. I have used 1.6 for the fx rate.

I will double-check the costs tomorrow (learning from Jamie), then send out details of my bank info by email to each of you. I'll send two emails to seperate the details.

If you have changed your mind, please let me know ASAP. We are at 16 sets. If we drop below 10 we lose the 20% discount.

Once I confirm costs and send out the bank details, I'd really appreciate a swift response with money. Once we get going I'd like to collect the funds and confirm to Jeff so he can get going on manufacture.

I hope that makes sense, let me know any questions.

I still need email addresses for Helen, Timbob, sanjay, tanick, markh and bullet. Apologies if you have pm'd me and I have missed them.

Just a thought as we are on the brink, I am aware that I don't think I have met anyone here personally! As you come to press the transfer button, you may feel nervous. I am known to Nick at redtek (as a good  customer). I am sure he'd give me a reference if anyone feels the need.
