Hi Tim,

I'll try and speak to Johannes tomorrow to finally confirm everything. Pay on the day is the plan as far as I know :)

I've bought a helmet and everything.

Just need to pull a sicky, I could alter my work at home day but if I don't respond to emails or have to take a call it can be awkward to explain the noise of you lot blatting around in the background. Sicky = no phone calls

Day off was the easy bit. Persuading Mrs Impmad that lending me here car for the day was a good idea, took a little more work !!

You told her !!! You just needed to find a good practical reason for her to take the A4 that day :)

Clip from the PCGB afternoon yesterday. They used the whole track, not just the top loop. More of a challenge, and more chance of it going wrong :)

I guess we can take a view on the day as to which we use. It's easier to time if you just use the top bit. Not that any runs are against the clock of course

The way it was run for the Club Audi day was to join the track at the timing hut, straight across the straight and into the bends (twice) and take a flyer across the finish line. Wind down onto the long bend and re-join the queue for next run on the road from the paddock.

That's the same as for Club GTi that I used to run with, still plenty of fun without the prospect of a 100mph off :)

Morning All,

Are we ready?

Track Opens 10am, once Johannes has picked the key up. I should be there a little before that.

Bring calories and fluids :)

Conformation mail from Johannes if anyone hasn't seen it:

Morning Chaps,

Hope you are all excited about tomorrow. There are 16 confirmed places on the day, some are not doing the whole day but hopefully we should all have fun and no one will die from a horrific accident.

The price for the day is £45 a head. Please bring cash with you so that we can sort everything out at the beginning of the day.

I'm bringing lunch for everyone and some water & soft drinks; feel free to bring more liquids if you feel the need but there should be more than enough food! Are there any vegetarians?

As stated already, it's up to everyone to decide what they want to bring in terms of safety gear. No one will be there telling anyone off, or indeed judging people who choose to or to not wear H&S apparel. If you want to drive naked siting on the roof of your car using a complex network of ropes and rods to drive, then you may.

I will be collecting the keys from David Pattison at around 9-9.30am so I should be there before everyone else to open the gates.

Any questions, please ask. If not, hope to see you all in the morning.

Johannes
