It may just be too good to be true :)

The phone number is wrong for a start, it's some poor woman who has been rung 12 times today alone by people looking for a bargain Porsche... including me

google the address - hardly a well thought out scam -
either someone has a grudge against the woman (and bear in mind this has been happening for over 12 months)

or, the person behind the scam - usually linked to e mail only contact by using false or invalid phone numbers is a moron
356A coupe,...
and some other nonsense

Did someone mention me?
The car is pretty close to me, could be an easy detour.
However I always go by the saying that if it's too good to be true, it probably is. Seems this could be one of those.
Am going to try and email him through the ad.

Phone up the website the ad is posted on, and ask for further details of the person who submitted the ad.
If you say its the wrong number, then there must be a way for them to trace it ?

Have tried emailing the seller through the website as well as emailing the website to see if they can contact the seller, but have got nowhere.
I was in the area where the car is supposed to be (only a minor detour) and I'm pretty sure there's no 356 at that address.

Just rang the number again just in case it's changed... poor woman at the other end EXTREMELY fed up with all the calls. Oops!

Can't find any numbers listed for the ad company and they won't contact me via the mail form...

I have a tenacious photographer in the area today who fancies a bit of sleuthing so he's off for a snoop around. More later if it unfolds. He has my cash on him too...
