With the 6 ft extendible steering column, you can drive from either back seat !
Thanks Helen for giving the Targa a top holiday destination. I'm not sure that having a kitchen extension built is going to help me get the car finished by C2C but hey !! the more projects, the better !!
Thanks to TheEasyLife and Bert for their help. DDK at its best

Aha, well, Impmad did get to "drive" his targa, but there was obviously a bit of a story to add.
This was the targa when we left....

and this was the targa when we arrived.

Sure, loads of Vrrrrrrrm vrrrrm noises to be heard but ....Noticed anything unusual? Perhaps not... so we were driving leisurly along to Ashby when suddenly: a traffic jam and something that looks familiar, but a bit up side down, was holding up traffic in the middle of the road.
Fooooook.

"Tim, you've lost your targa roll over hoop mate!"
Tim was on a mission and wasnt going to stop. Also, he certainly did not want to check whether there were any scratches or damage on the car. (I have and didn't see any...)
What to do now....?
Thats right: wedge that thing in the 964! Come on James, bring that seat a bit forward and more upright and nnnnnnnnnjjjjjjjj....

All sorted, another DDK adventure
Take care and remember: don't forget to bold the expensive bits down!

its still tucked up safe and sound,
Larrys been itching to clean it
but i've banned him from touching it.
is 2x 911t targas in a garage just being greedy?

Tim, the back right hand tyre is going flat. we'll pump it up again or we could put the car on axle stands if you prefer?

If Larry is itching to clean the car, who am I to stop him
Can't have it showing up the rest of the Goff Stable !!
As for the tyre, whatever is easiest. Pump up or axle stands, I don't mind.
On the home front:- From this

to this:-

In just 3 weeks.
No heating, only 1/2 the walls, and drafty as a barn ! but we are hopefully back together on Thrusday !! Then all I have to do is fit the kitchen !!
Thanks again for looking after my car
