72 914 finished (ish)

Just a couple of pics of my 72 914 that i have finished rebuilding over the past year.
Body wise the car was as i bought it from a fellow ddk member, the car had not been on the road since 99 and needed putting back together,engine build and bits and pieces to finish.
I started by stripping out suspension and reapinting,
cleaning the underside and rewaxing under arches and floor and also dinitrol wax injection into the sills.
Replaced brake lines and braided hoses along with rebuilt calipers and new bearings all round.
Replaced front and rear struts along with fitting front roll bar and also new suspension bushes,
Replaced gear linkage bushes and solid gearbox mounts.
Stripped and Repainted front boot area,
Polished and detailed wheels,
New 2056cc motor,higher lift cam, new larger valve heads ported and polished along with other goodies all topped of with rejetted dellorto40's.
Still got bits and pieces that i want to sort out, but hopefully will get to enjoy it, as we are planning a touring holiday along the south coast this summer and also to attend few shows/meets.
