Hello DDKer's
In a nutshell I am die hard petrol head, have been all my life. It has got me into lots of trouble over the years both at work and play and I wouldn't have it any other way.
My first taste of a DDK eligble car was getting a lift to school along the coast road into Nassau (Bahamas) in a friends dad's red 356 Speedster, I think it was a 59. It was a much more exciting trip to school than the usual ride in my dad's Mk4 Cortina.
Over the years I have never managed to treat myself to a toy due to the usual suspects, wedding, change jobs, house, 1st child, change jobs, 2nd child, change jobs. Only last week I siezed my chance before 'kids university' was next on the list and bought my first Porsche, a black inside and out 1989 911 Turbo (I know its a modern car but everyone has to start somewhere). This week I am potentially looking at my 2nd Porsche a 65 911 in need of total restortation, thanks for the help so far on the 911 board on this one
Over and out for now,
Stephen
