Mike,
Firstly is it your internet connection or connection to Facebook that's being dropped?
If your download limit had been reached, it's unlikely you would be able to get on any website.
There's 2 things you could try;
Get the latest Flash Player from http://www.adobe.com
and/or
Try downloading the latest Windows updates (be sure to tick the custom install button not express) - you do this by going to Internet Explorer, click on the tools menu and select Windows update.
