I bought a box of old Autosport magazines the other day and found a couple of Polaroids in amongst them.
They appear to be period shots of a works special.
The photos seem to show a car outside the racing department.
There's not many clues but one has '72' written on the back, the other has a signature, I think.
It's unclear but it could be 'Will Ford' or 'Velford'? I can't make it out.
Nice looking car though..

Not only to find those old Polaroids in such great condition after over 35 years - but also the amazing discovery that Michelin TB 15's were available back then ...

and that high intensity 'halogen' lamps were available over fire exits - you learn something every day.

I'd run that finger print through the Police database to see if the photos belonged to anyone dodgy - might link a criminal to the theft of a priceless factory prototype

I think you'll find it says 'Feuer Ausfahrt'.

Thanks Hig. That's it confirmed. This is a long lost, unknown, genuine ex-works factory racer.

Forget the halogens and TB's (which were available in the early seventies anyway) this is an historic find. History laid before you.
