Hi from Harrogate

Post by Siggy »

Been lurking around here for a while now, I am the one who has the Guest House on Ripon road, presently run a 1988 3.2 Carrera. But could be tempted by a 914

Welcome Dave, plenty of Northerners on here and usually a meet up every month or so, come along and we might even avoid the word 'backdate'

Being tempted by a 914 is a good thing... I am also tempted. The chap in the workshop next door has just bought one and I think it looks great. I think I also may need one

Welcome to DDK

Got a lovely set of slicks from Dave, which I picked up en route to a christmas party at a most memorable southener Northener turned southerner.

Many thanks for the welcome to all.

A curry sounds great, where Raj Putt?
The only backdate mines likely to have is the heating.

Mine is Marine Blue with 17 inch Roto Foxs and sadly spends most of its time parked up

Nope, haven`t seen that around, got any photos?

Raj Putt ?? Chance would be a fine thing ! The finest curry known to man and stumbling distance from my own front door.

DDk have yet to sample the delights, it`s just the town center parking is rubbish.

Bert's talking about ' back in the day' ;)

For a curry we tend to use the one near Ferrybridge .... great food & great parking + easy enough for everyone to get too.

Pub meets / Drives move around the north to try & have at least one near to most people ( thats the problem with Yorkshire / Co durham being such a large area )
