oh ok it's not as bad as I thought it would come out.. infact its quite good from seeing pictures of it before..
Once RB boys get stuck in your will have a great car again... RB's Metal man is very good I had a number of very long chats with him plus he kindly VERY kindly helped me make a template of a NOS Pre A nose so i can make mine a better shape..
Shame you couldn't save the paint. but by the looks of it you'd better get the work done and have a sound car. looks the usual swiss cheese to me!
Good luck!

its often just as much work to save a really rusty panel as it is to fill in a little hole on a good one- so dont worry!
Mind you, its taken me nigh on ten years (!) to finish my welding and I'm not looking for another 'project' for a long time !!!!
Good luck.......
PS I am hoping to spray up my car this weekend coming, with a view to ageing the paint etc. The whole idea came from seeing the original pics of this/your car when it first came over- prob three years ago or so ?
I didnt want a nice spanky new 356, and liked the idea of mine being a pace car for Hockenheim or something.
Mine will be blue, btw..

Rust bucket, thanks for the encouragment, 10yrs, that is a life time, i cant imagine waiting that long, waiting until spring for this to be finished is killing me.
How are you going to age the paint, that sounds interesting?
