People on here were always going to appreciate a brown 80s car because it's total retro-connoisseur cool.
I have the same thing - my car is up for sale and the thread is now eight pages, 108 posts long. Still no fecker has bought my car, but it is at the top of the list. The last four posts have been about a diesel Ford Focus. I'm baffled, but I don't care - if it turns into a billion pages of geeky chat, and the car sells, does it really matter?
Relac one corner, stayber pah marber lah.

Jamie,
in this instance I think the brown R-registered 911 featured is a 911 2.7 165 bhp model. Those C3 are rare!
A for the SC -for-dorks, well.... -it does the job in a reliable housewifey kind of way. Admittedly I miss the moisten-my-pants-ability of the c3 every mile, but better a bit of a sugar rush in a 911 then a mindwank in a saab.

Consensus is it's better than all SCs. SCs are the dependable, hardy Labrador, C3s are the greyhound. If you ask Bert about his C3 he starts sweating profusely and rubbing his thighs. Just standing next to him it, I absorbed so much airborne foist that it took three washes to my clothes Ariel-fresh again. I don't recommend it.fourteener wrote:So a C3 is better that the 180 SC, but what about a 204 SC?

First rule of thumb, Lipman: listen to the older crowd
Secondly: use your intuition
Thirdly: c3 owners might be a bit off the beaten track
Fourthly: experience it yourself. You'll need the ariel after driving my C3, promise!
Btw, what happened to the SC RS replica for sale here ?
