Newbie from West Sussex

Post by GuyS. »

Hi All,

Another VW/Porsche enthusiast from West Sussex saying hello :hello2:

My car ownership has flicked between air and water cooled over the years, but always rear engined and range from a 63 Karmann Ghia to a 997 Cup Car.

My wife currently drives a 78 Westfalia Bay camper and I have a modern kettle with all the bells and whistles.

However, I've seen the light and am now looking for a 2.4S 911. Still very much at the tyre kicking stage but any advice or leads would be most gratefully welcome.

Kind Regards,

GuyS.

Hi Guy.

Hope you are well. Did you Monkey's friend and ex-colleague Colin Goodwin is planning to sell his S?

Paul at Tuthills might have info since I think it's getting some love there at the moment.

Hi Jamie,

Thanks for the welcome. No I didn't know Colin was planning to sell his car, thanks for the info. That car used to be owned & run by Mrs Harris for a number of years I believe ?

Yeah - I think Chris sold it to him. It's in a bit of a state, but he's having it sorted out. He's using the money to help build one of these:

I was over there at the weekend and he has a part-assembled tailplane in his shed! The man, the legend...
