Does this mean that not only might you drive the car Mike, but that it may be driven in the dark :?: No one will see it

What has just struck me is that you are getting close to finishing this car. It's winter your not going to drive this back in all this snow and rain to muck up all this hard work  you might have to leave it up there Till next Summer

Sadly yes, but then I don't have the resources of a high tech engineering workshop with a team of highly skilled technicians fervently beavering away around the car in conditions akin to Lewis Hamilton's pit lane garage.......but then again come to think of it, neither do you!
cheers, Mike.

No, and my 'resources' are running out fast too.
You're the one person I can talk to about the spiralling costs who'll truly understand. Shall we cry on each others shoulder? :(

My car has a build date of 1st April 1972. Mike’s car was built 1st January 1973.
Andy will confirm the factory changed from horizontal white stitching to black ‘cross’ stitching in late Autumn 1972. Therefore both wheels are quite correct.
Mind you records are somewhat vague after 35 years, that could be a load of...

If you're a stickler for authenticity I'd follow Mike's restoration and not mine.

I wouldn't follow me for anything if I was you, I'm building a recreation of a car which was a prototype RSR made from an 72S which doesn't exist any more, I'm just making it up as I go along.........
cheers, Mike.
