PreA meeting Luxembourg/Germany
Yes, this years PreA meeting has almost arrived again. This time it is being held in Saarbrucken in Germany from where we are going into Luxembourg. I am setting off next Thursday (4th September). Just got to give the car a service and check it over.
Hopefully there will be about 20 cars there this year. Will post photos when/if I get back!
Wish me luck!

Well, I made it back with no problems after 800 miles of driving.
Thoroughly enjoyed the meeting even if the weather was poor. It was good to meet old friends and make a few new ones.
Some photos below:
Classic Parts de France

A RHD '53 coupe in Strawberry Red (same year and colour as mine, never seen another one before). Raced in the '54 carrera panamerica.

The line up outside the hotel.

Saturday we visited an old steel works.

On the road.

Ok, some more pics! I don't have anything else though really.
Outside Classic Parts de France

Carrera engine just sat in the corner.

More photos outside the steel works.

Inside the steel works:

My friend Henks Continental, a beautiful and very original car.

You're going to have to come to one eventually Mark. The car doesn't have to be perfect to go. There are some that are well used or very original as well the usual over restored cars.
Next year the meeting will be in the south of France again.

Take a look at a small report on the 4th pre A meeting
In case you are intrested in pictures of last year, you can find them here

James, sorry to be picky but they are all PreAs.
I'm glad you like the hard hat. I'm thinking of starting a new trend, especially when driving with the top down!
