Chamber angle in SC heads?

Post by Ren »

Hi all, im getting my s90 heads machined to match the chamber angle of Sc heads but cant remember the angles. Any know?

Also I have tried the Duane Spencer flywheel modification to a VW Kennedy Clutch and it aint working. I might be looking for a new 200mm flywheel ect.

The pressure plate is about 3mm from the surface of the flywheel when I put the clutch disk in place. Also the disk looks like it is just touching the 356 /912 Scat flywheel nut.

That is an expensive lesson to learn.

Do you mean the 'band' at the outer circumference of the combustion chamber ?

If so, the angle for the 356A/B heads was 22 deg increasing to 30 deg for the C/SC/912 heads.

chamber angle in heads

Yes thats what I was after. I have been asked by machine shop if i can get any pics of the area to cut just to be sure and safe.

Do you have any or any links to any? Or can you describe it better for me and I might be able to source something. Im doing this to fit s90 heads to a big bore kit which im told has to have the angle changed.
