Euro Rate

Post by chfs911 »

The Pound has reached an all time low against the Euro so this looks less attactive when priced in Euro!

Key info is required such as original panels and original paint?

Service history?

What has happened to the spare?

I know of a similar car for sale in the UK at £43K

This car is worth £60k all day long. 8)

Its only the red ones that are mega-cheap...as you well know.

Don't you mean black ones are cheaper?

I heard a Euro dealer was over for the Scottish RS and deal fell through for £500!

He flew back home empty handed!

Considering the exchange rate if he comes back in a couple of weeks it will be within budget!

Just came over to wind you up about that replica you bought! :bom:

Am I misisng the point here?

By my reckoning 58.5K euro is about £48k which makes this a reasonable buy if it is all in order.

It was subject to much discussion on Sunday. Great buy for someone.

Is the car staying in Ayrshire Mike? ;O)

You know a classic when you see one.

Sadly I'm not the buyer Charles. I was really too late at the party. The car was leaving for home just as I arrived to look it over. As you say nice car for someone and a great colour too.

Mike

Mike,
I got the story at Dakota tonight. Alan L said he also looked at the car but had nowhere to store it with all the others he had.

BIG Mistake I told him. It is not often that such a nice RS comes on the market.

It is worth getting the full story it is like The Sweeney rerun! ;O)
