Hi,
Sorry to ask questions that I know will have been asked before (I searched but couldn't find what I was after).
Just doing an engine and gearbox oil change on my car (72 T, oil tank in front of the rear wheel) and wondered if there are any specific torque settings for the four plugs I need to retighten (sump, tank and 2 x gearbox)? Or am I best just tweaking them up and keeping an eye on them for leaks?
Also, following a complete oil drain and filter change, how much oil should I expect to put back in the engine and gearbox?
It's been sat draining oil for quite some time due to me being busy so it should be pretty empty.
Cheers, Ross.

In the end I put 9 litres in the engine and that seems fine as far as I can tell from the dipstick after a run.
With the gearbox, I just filled until it overflowed and then let it drain from the filler hole until it stopped, seemed to take about 3 litres in all.
Didn't worry about torquing up the sump plugs - just gave'm a tweak and all seems well.
Cheers, Ross.
