Where? and what is the plan for such a meeting - wasn't aware we ever did such things or indeed had a need for one ???????? :? Wouldn't mind discussing this before it's decided we're having one.

Chill oh great leader.. i was taking the mick...

just spotted this on the site intro....
4 Meetings

The Annual General Meeting shall be held annually in April, timed to allow the Treasurer to complete as much as possible of the Accounts prior to the AGM (see 5 Financial Year, below). It will be open to any member who has written to confirm that he/she wishes to attend. Otherwise matters arising from members will be dealt with by discussion of questions and comments which are submitted by phone, email or written and received by March 31st.

Special General Meetings or other meetings shall be held as decided by Officers of the Committee or at the request of Members, subject to not less than 28 days notice, or in an emergency (as recognised by the Officers) not less than 7 days notice. The Officers of the Committee shall meet as required for them to carry out their duties, and subject to their complying with the required Quorum.
thank-goodness DDK hasn't got a need for this...although it does sound like a good excuse for a pi55 up 8)

AGM 's !!!! Don't think so !

If we were to have an AGM, I would vote straight away to dissolve the club & start a new splinter group with no 'organisation' & no official meetings ;)

EDITED as I see Helen is joking

it's in the ddk constitution which we had to produce not in the intro. it does take place every april, on the 1st. The location is in my tiny little mind and the day ddk has a need for a real one is the day I say goodbye!

CLM will be the biggest ddk gathering this year so if anything needs voting on we'll do it there!

OT.
Bootsy,

I realise that we are a narco-syndicalist commune and that we are witnessing the repression inherent in the system...........but.........could we have a little meeting about a lack of membership packs in Lancashire?

Coat on, gone........ :albino:
