All KN camping passes are going out in tomorrows post , so keep an eye out for your SAE or a standard looking hand written letter. They have all gone 1st class post . Also tell your wives, partners etc to keep an eye out for the letter , just incase they put it it in the 'to do' pile !! Don't let the dog eat it !!!

If nothing has turned up by beginning of next week let me know.

Also note the camping plot sizes are 7m x 5 m maximum.

The plots are numbered this year too so in theory we won't have to fight for space. We have the following pitches :

30 F - 42F

30G - 42G

30 I - 41 I

Not sure what the lay out is like, but I get the impression we won't have a huge 'square' area to fill, more like lined up in rows.

Anyway, not long now 8) Getting excited :drunken:

Thank you James: I think we each owe you a pint or ten: better not drink anything until July  .

Excellent :)

There will be a further 5 cars of late arrivals. Our ferry doesn't get in to Dieppe until 12:00pm, good to know we don't have to panic drive down to get a spot.

Thanks James.

I'll tell the wife to make sure she looks out for the postie.

Getting very excited about the trip now. Printed "Barry's guide to CLM camping" & passed it to my brother in law & we both keep re-reading it to get a flavour of what's to come.

Due to my faux pas (sp) I leave 4 weeks today :P

If anyone wants a place to pitch a tent without a car, my party are going in 2 cars but only using 1 tent, so I've bought 2 passes but there's a pitch going free.

Got my pass and sticker this morning - thanks loads James. Where should I put the sticker? I'd hate to turn up with it in the wrong window.. How embarrassing!

Use the force!

But if it is weak within you and you put it in the wrong place the penance I will be serving is interesting and forceful!

Hmm, last time I 'used the force', I put the sticker in the wrong car. I think I'll give it to my wife instead this time.

Correct position of sticker as per ACO rule 134.2.5(c)

'Camping sticker must be 2 inches from the passenger side A pillar (assuming RHD), 1 inch from roof', and affixed firmly onto windscreen

They also provide guidance:

Please note that the glue is extremely sticky, so it is advisable to remove only the four corners of the sticker (rather than the whole strip) before applying to windscreen. Removal of adhesive resin, can involve the use of a razor blade. Please note that you may be asked to fully secure the sticker by high visibility camp superintendant. It is advisable to have the sticker in place before you arrive at the campsite, as high visibility camp superintendant may place sticker on windscreen randomly at his/her discretion in annoyance.

In summary, behind the passenger sun visor
