I'm new here...

Post by Carles Bosch »

Hi, chaps,
I'm new here. I'm from Barcelona and a great fan of racing & rallying history.
I've known this forum via The Nostalgia forum @ www.autosport.com, and my love for all involving Porsches has just led me to register here.
I'm posting also regularly on Histoires du Sport Automobile @ www.forum-auto.com.
I'm an ex-amateur rally driver, now having a go from time to time in historic rallying.
In my list of "don't miss" events there are the Mille Miglia Storica (attended in 2007 & 2008), Le Mans Classique (attended in '06 and ready to go in just a month for the second time running). This year I've made also a first time visit to RetroMobile (Paris) and in my "wish list" there are a few events like the GP de Monaco Historique, the Goodwood Festival of Speed and the Nürburgring Oldtimer.
See you all.

Ola! bienvenidos a DDK :)

Where are you in Spain? You have some amazing driving roads over there - I bought my 356 Carrera from a charming gent in Madrid who campaigned a variety of classic machines on your wonderful roads.

BTW - add a DDK event to your 'must do' calendar ;)

This is the Tossa de Mar / Sant Feliu de Guixols road in the Costa Brava, a nice road alongside the seacoast used as a Special Stage in the Rallye Catalunya.
