The 'Maverick' Classic Porsche Forum and Classic Porsche Club for Porsche 356, Aircooled Porsche 911, Porsche 912, Porsche 914 & Porsche Replicas. 'We join for the cars but stay for the people'
Trying to gauge its 'worth'....any help appreciated.
Thanks in advance
Dreaming of driving a pre-A 356, actually commuting in a Cayman and for the weekend, a 911 'thing', with a Carrera 3 engine ( we think).

It was brought into the country (from cali I think) a few years back by the fella off that thread called spooner I believe. I think he is the guy from M restorations who had that one and a yellow 66 for sale at the same time. From there it has done the rounds through the vw community. Its had several owners since spooner sold it, each of them has owned it for a short period of time and done bits of work to it so it seems. I think its had new pans and cross members during its time in this country and also the paint has gradually got tidied up, see flatted back (it was all colours initially) It had 14" fuchs initially but were then replaced by burners. Everything else is fairly original I believe (including the engine according to a previous owner I contacted.
